The cuffs with tonal reflective elements are longer to cover the back of your hands. Secondary inner stretch cuffs keep the wind out. The highlight of this lavishly outfitted jacket is a clever detail – a wide reflective print is concealed behind a zip on the lower back, which – with the zip open – significantly increases visibility in the sitting position and provides additional splash protection. The torso features superior warmth retention thanks to a new synthetic down that's divided in chambers like a sleeping bag and even insulates when it's wet. For optimal temperature regulation and more freedom of movement, Primaloft® Black Eco Insulation was used in the sleeves and hood. All materials are 100 % recycled. Your VAUDE product can withstand a water column of at least 10,000 millimeters (JIS L 1092 B). The membrane is made of polyurethane (PU), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) or polyester (PES) and is 100 percent free of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). Ceplex Active is also used as a coating.

As warm as down: Heatsphere Eco Insulation consists of heat-trapping spheres made from 100% recycled PET bottles and has the same properties as down fill. It is lightweight, very elastic, warmer than any padded fill and retains its insulation properties even when wet without clumping so you can save resources and do the environment a favor at the same time.
